PROJECT: Casa Del Sol AOR
CLIENT: Casa Del Sol Tequila
AGENCY: PXL
ROLE: Creative Director, UX / UI Design Lead
DESCRIPTION: Casa Del Sol Tequila was co-founded by Mexican-American actress and activist Eva Longoria. The connection between the sun and the divine feminine is deeply connected to this spirit, represented in the logo which depicts the female deity, Mayahuel in front of the setting sun. I led the creative pitch that resulted in Casa Del Sol naming PXL as their digital AOR. I oversaw UX/UI design, social strategy, content creation, and experiential design for pop-ups and retail.

PXL launched Casa Del Sol’s official online presence, content strategy, and social media channels - all while maintaining the authentic and sophisticated voice that is unique to this culturally-rich premium brand. To organically and accurately convey this voice, I built the campaign around the concept of duality – focusing on the dualistic blend inherent to the unique process used to produce CDS, using the best blue weber agave from the hills of Jalisco, Mexico – then aging the tequila in barrels sourced from Martell Cognac in France. This blend of cultures and methods produces a revolutionary take on tequila – made possible by the two female Tequileras at Casa Del Sol: Alejandra Pelayo and Mariana Padilla.

The Casa Del Sol website was featured in The New York Times.
