DESCRIPTION: Monophonics are a retro psychedelic soul band originally from San Francisco, California. Undeniably funky, Monophonics’ sound draws clear inspiration from the late 60s and 70s, including bands like the Meters, the JBs, Crusaders and Tower of Power. “There’s A Riot Going On” is from their third studio album titled "In Your Brain" on Ubiquity records. This production utilized old filmmaking techniques and equipment to give the music video an authentically vintage feel.
